Florida Man Arrested After Fake Bomb Threat

18-year old Grayson Alexander Barry was arrested in Naples, Florida last Thursday after authorities say he called in a fake bomb threat to Naples High School Thursday morning.

The school was immediately evacuated while local authorities responded and searched for a possible explosive device, the search yielded negative results. Police then traced the call and discovered that the call was placed from Barry’s Google Voice account and made on his cellphone from his place of employment.

When questioned by police, Barry admitted to making the false threat in order to help his friends avoid a test that was scheduled for that day.

He was charged with making a false report concerning the placement of a bomb and given a $10,000 bail.
